Transformation Tuesday – August 28, 2012

28 Aug

I’m so excited that with each week, more and more of you are linking up to the Transformation Tuesday Link  Party.  Thank you so much!  All of your projects continue to inspire everyone that visits here at The Ironstone Nest, so please be sure to tell all of your friends about it so they can join the party too!  The more the merrier!

Last week, we had two lovely ladies post their chevron backsplash projects!
Building This Nest and Pressing On completely transformed the look of their kitchens.
It took a lot of time and patience, but all that hard work was totally worth it, wouldn’t you agree?

Meg Made Designs performed the ultimate furniture transformation: they turned an old card catalog into a buffet.  Well, why wouldn’t you?  This is another tedious and time consuming project that makes a huge impact.  I love everything about this transformation!!

And It’s Just Me takes you on a tour of their home and it’s perfectly peppered with vintage finds in every room, but I think the kitchen is my favorite.  I love the signs, the window on the top shelf, the little cabinet on the wall, the industrial light fixture and, of course, the ironstone.  Well, their entire house is like that, actually.  You have to look at each room a couple of times in order to see everything.  Be sure to stop by and see the gallery wall in their bedroom.  It’s beyond fabulous!
