Well, sort of . . .
So I bought the new issue of Flea Market Style magazine last week from my good friend, Jan, from Gracie’s Cottage. It sat on my desk and taunted me for a few days until I had the time to sit down and take a look through it. I was casually perusing through reading every word and soaking up every incredible article and photograph and then . . . lo and behold . . . I read about a friend of mine (Lisa from Sommers Breeze Antiques) whose art had been photographed during the Spring Junk Bonanza and there it was right in front of me on page 86!
But I kept reading . . . and then, two pages later I almost fell over when I saw one of the chairs I bought highlighted on page 88. I had hemmed and hawed about them while at the show and was only going to purchase one of them, but my aunt and uncle convinced me I should buy both of them. They are currently in our basement, but they’re gorgeous in person, and will go in our bedroom soon!
So I can officially say I’ve made it into a magazine! Well, if you consider a close friend’s husband being quoted and a photograph of a chair I purchased from Mustard Moon gracing the pages of the magazine, well then I guess that counts! Right?
