Transformation Tuesday – October 16, 2012

I’ve been seriously MIA since the sale and I’m very sorry about that.  I haven’t posted much on Facebook or Twitter and I have a lot of blog posts to share with you still, but all 3 kiddos are sick in our house and I’ve been fighting it myself for over a week.  In fact, I can’t stop coughing while typing this to you.  I do enjoy Fall, but not the colds that come with it!  However, I do enjoy the awesome projects that come each and every week here at Transformation Tuesday.  You guys are seriously amazing!
But before we get to the features, I want to share a few things with you:  (1) please be sure to include a “before” photo of your projects in your posts.  It really helps people see the true transformation of your project; (2) please be sure to include a link to The Ironstone Nest, or include the button provided, in your post; and (3) I’ve received emails from a few of you now thanking me for the feature because traffic to your blog increased.  That is so awesome!  So won’t you please be sure to tell your friends and followers about this weekly link party?  The more bloggers that link up, the more traffic we will all receive and, therefore, more people will see your incredible talent!  It’s a win-win for everyone!

Okay, enough with the blogger business already!  Let’s move on to the features, shall we?

Number Fifty-Three did a super transformation on this ottoman.  It really needed some love and she definitely transformed into a real stunner!

The Homesteading Cottage shared a very simple project that reminds us all how simple a few items and a little time can take an ordinary candle and turn it into a one-of-a-kind-no-one-else-has-the-same-candle candle.  I mean you can make a special birthday candle, a halloween candle, a Thanksgiving candle, a candle that matches you decor.  The possibilities are endless!  Thank you for the inspiration!

And Dear Emmeline used some fantastic vintage finds in her Fall Mantel.  The combination of wood, green and silver together is one of my favorite color combinations.  The spools, pumpkins, dried hydrangea and moss added as natural elements really make this mantel stand out in the crowd!

3.  Link to your specific post, NOT your home page, please.

4.  Please add the Transformation Tuesday button or a link to this post to your post so more people can learn about the party . . . the more people that see the button, the more people that will see your posts, and therefore, your blog!
