Before I show you my fabulous finds, I wanted to give you a friendly reminder that TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to enter for your chance to win the Hammers & Heels Giveaway for the cutest little cloche terrarium ever:
If you haven’t entered yet, please go here and get in, Cinderella, before the giveaway ends tonight at midnight! Tick tock.
As for what I found at Junk Bonanza, I can assure you it was a lot more than what I’m about to show you, but I made a promise I would not come home with more than a bag full this time and I stuck to it. Kind of. Oh it was hard. Believe me! I had to pull myself away from a thousand things. I’m not exaggerating. There were quite a few times I picked something up and had to put it down because I knew I couldn’t bring it home. But I’m really pleased with what did end up coming home with me: a chippy stool, an ironstone soap dish (as if I needed another one), a beautifully tarnished small silver tray, two vintage restaurant mugs (because I can’t get enough of them), tiny flash cards and a stand up sign (obviously purchased from Ms. Mac’s Antiques):
I also picked up this horse painting for our daughter. She loves horses and since we can’t have one (yet), I thought she might like this . . . and she does.
And my favorite find of the day was this awesome galvanized letter sorter.
I’ll share photos and stories from Junk Bonanza with you next week, including meeting Ki Nassauer herself. But if you’d like to see the picture of Ki and I taken together yesterday morning, please visit The Ironstone Nest Facebook page!
Once again, it was a completely over-the-top show and most definitely worth the trip!
Thank you for reading!
P.S. I realize the galvanized letter sorter couldn’t fit in a bag but everything else did. So that counts, right?
