Getting Personal

I can only control my actions, my thoughts and my tongue.

Leo Buscaglia said if you don’t like the play you’re in, change the scene, change the players. . . etc

But sometimes the play changes on us and sometimes we’re left questioning why

ive had to change my mindset and look at things a little differently lately.

As for the features, I wasn’t originally going to do weekly features.  In fact, even though I did it this week, I’m not sure I’ll continue.  My only reason for choosing not to do it is because I think you’re all fabulous and creative and your projects are fantastic.  However, I know that I always appreciate being featured myself.  There are some blogs that do features and some that don’t.  Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts about blog features.  I’d like to know what YOU think.

Transformation Tuesday Link Party – August 7, 2012

Let’s check out some projects from last week’s party, shall we?

I drool every time I see one of these cute little skirts for a chair and Ashley at Vanceville House did a fantastic job with this one.  Not to mention, that staircase this chair is sitting in front of is gorgeous!
Susan from Maple & Magnolia did something so incredibly simple and so incredibly genius: she put a belt around this sweet pillow and finished it off with some bling.  Love!
Jennifer at Town & Country Living made this precious sign from a discarded cutting board she found at Goodwill.  Guess what I’m on the hunt for now?
Thank you to all of you that linked up.  I encourage all of you to do so each week.  It’s wonderful to hop around and see what everyone’s up to and I love finding new inspiration and new blogs.  I find something new every week that inspires me and it’s all because of YOU!
