I Finally Found A Spot . . .

. . . for the Guest Cottage sign I purchased a while back from Susan at Maple & Magnolia!

It’s now hanging above our kitchen sink where we used to have a Bon Appetit sign:

And it now looks like this:

I would love to put the sign in a guest bedroom, but since we don’t have a guest bedroom at the moment, this was the next best welcoming spot, I thought, considering most visitors tend to congregate in the kitchen anyways.
I also took the opportunity to hang more ironstone (of course) in the kitchen while we were at it:

Oh, and I adore the new addition to our antique corbel shelf that sits just beneath the sign:
A James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade crock that I purchased from Willows this past Saturday at the Kane County Flea Market.  I don’t even care if it’s the real deal or not.  I just love it!
Now I just need to find something else to replace that tacky light above the sink.  What to do?  What to do?
I hope you’re having a fantastic day!
Thank you for reading!

  1. Perfect! Love the corbel shelf! :)

  2. How lovely! Have a gorgeous week ahead, Kellie xx
