I love, love, love vintage inspired, antiqued signs. In fact, I think they've replaced my previous love for vinyl wall words. Nah. Who am I kidding? I love them both.
I've recently been searching for vintage sign inspiration on Pinterest, and of course, Pinterest didn't let me down:
I could certainly make a sign for our nest myself and I probably will some day, but when the fantastically talented Susan Haskins from Maple & Magnolia posted this photo on her January 25th Wednesday's Wares post:
I knew I had to have her Guest Cottage sign right away!! I sent her an email message within minutes of receiving her post and screamed through the email: Susan, I have to have it!
It finally arrived on my doorstep the other day:
Now I just need to find the perfect spot for it!
If you've never heard of the blog, Maple & Magnolia, and you love all things vintage and farmhouse like I do, then please stop by and show Susan some love. Susan is a humorous writer and a breath of fresh air in blogland. I'll warn you, though, that you may have to stop yourself from drooling all over your keyboard once you take a look inside her home. You'll know what I mean when you get there! I have no doubt you'll be absolutely delighted you paid her a visit. Enjoy!
