  1. Fabulous – who doesn’t love Pottery Barn! I’ve been a follower. Thanks for the chance!!

  2. In our home, one tradition is to go Christmas Tree shopping the day after Thanksgiving. We always get a beautiful fragrant tree and have the best time shopping for it. We take lots of pictures and we also alternate every year on who gets to pick it. Last year my 6 year old daughter picked out the most amazing tree.

  3. Liked your blog on FB some time ago and liked your recent post about this giveaway!! So exciting!!

  4. I blogged about it :)

  9. #2) Every year, my mom cooks all day long so we can enjoy a fabulous meal in the evening. We attend church around 5:30 and come home to tantalizing smells. After filling our bellies we push aside our plates and open up these poppers that my mom has laid across the table. They are kind of like Chinese finger traps, where you place both pointer fingers in each end, hold down a small cardboard stick and pull – BOOM! Out pops a small trinket/prize, along with a fortune or a joke. Also included are brightly colored paper tissue crowns. Every year we put them on and take photos that will last forever.

  10. #3) I ‘liked’ you on Facebook not too long ago! =)

  11. #4) Any thoughts on how to do this if I don’t have a blog? I can share your Facebook page on mine, perhaps?…

  26. I have a big family (10) and my husband had one too (9)–which always makes it hard to see everyone during the two day span. But, we do have some traditions. I host an annual Cousin’s Christmas Coffee at my house, always the Saturday before Christmas…lots of jawing and eating and drinking yummy coffee and hot cocoa and looking at all the black and white photos of us as kids! Merry Christmas to all of you.

  27. Every year we pick out a new ornament. My mother always did it for us growing up and I always did for my kids. That way when they are grown and move out, they have the starts for their own tree.

  28. I thought I was already a follower, but now I am for sure. Love me some PB.

  29. I am a follower :) Love it!

  30. My family takes turns each year hosting our get together on Christmas eve. My daugther, sister, sister in law and me are the ones who take turns. Everyone brings a covered dish or whatever they are told to bring and the hostess provides the home and decorated tables and more food.

  31. We are just starting some new Christmas traditions because my husband and I recently got married :) We are definitely going to decorate our tree together and hopefully have our families in town for a nice holiday.

  51. Our favorite tradition is that we always have to wait at the top of the stairs before coming down to open presents. The first time we come down, without fail, my dad didn’t have the camera on and we have to go back up and act suprised again. The funny thing is, my sister and I are both married and I have a little boy now. But we will forever be coming down the stairs with our surprised faces on!

  58. Every Christmas morning my whole family (it’s huge lol) goes to my grandparents at 7am for breakfast. We have a huge breakfast, open presents from each other and then we have a wrapping paper ball fight with everyone. It sounds silly, but it’s a lot of fun :) My Papa passed away this year, so I’m gonna miss watching him as he cheerfully scrambles the eggs and fries the bacon. He loved Christmas morning.

  66. #3 Christmas tradition in our Family.
First, the tree and related Christmas decorations do not go up until AFTER Thanksgiving has been celebrated. sometimes when overnight/weekend guests are present, we may decorate the tree the next day after Thanksgiving. and Finally, my sister’s birthday on Dec 7, is celebrated solely with BIRTHDAY presents..only after that do we start celebrating Christmas in all its glory…
    warmest hugs..

  70. One of my favorite Christmas traditions now that my kids are grown is to fill stockings with lots of fun gifts and exchange these with my friends instead of just one gift. It is fun to see what I can find to fit into a stocking! I do it for my grown kids also and always include a new toothbrush for them like I did when they were little.

  82. My family attends Christmas Eve mass and then we have a traditional meal. We only eat the meal once a year on Christmas Eve – it’s a French Canadian dish called tortiere (essentially a meat pie). SO delicious! Then we all exchange one Christmas gift before watching a Christmas movie. :)

  83. Oooh sorry that one before was from Amelia @ ameliaholman4@gmail.com. I’ll give one more tradition – my husband and I go to the movie theater Christmas night to relax and spend some alone time together after a fun-filled but crazy day.
