Christmas Tree and Giveaway Winner!

The deed is done.  The photographer’s tree is decorated and she loves it.  All I wanted was for her to be happy with her tree.  She put it in the window of her studio and it was difficult to take a good shot of it, especially with the other tree outside in the background.  Sigh.  But here it is:

I finished off the tree with a burlap tree skirt and a vintage basket, waiting to hold all sorts of goodies.  I’m going to create some faux “gifts” to put under the tree that could also double as props.

It’s a simple tree with vintage, old world flair.  Our tree was going to look similar to this, but now I’m thinking I’ll do something completely different for us.

Now . . . for the moment you’ve really been waiting for: the winner of the $50 Pottery Barn Gift Card.  First I want to say “thank you” to everyone who participated and “welcome” to all of my new followers.  I hope you’ll take off your coat and stay a while.  If you get a chance, please stop by and read all of the comments, especially the Christmas traditions.  I had such a great time reading them and I read every single one!  I love learning about what other families do to make their holiday special.  Your stories were a delight to read.  Thank you for sharing!

The winner, chosen randomly by, is:
