Fall Inspiration and Ideas

I had a great time conducting the research for this post, but it was so hard to narrow down what I wanted to feature for you.  I got lost in a maze of leaves, pumpkins, cornstalks, hay and baked goods.  It was pure Fall bliss!  But I found my way back and I’m here to share some incredible inspiration and fun ideas for you and your family.  I hope you like them!

First off, Beth from Home Stories A2Z did a lovely post on 22 Fall Front Porch Ideas.  Holy smokes!

I almost always have haystacks and corn stalks in my front door Fall display.  I didn’t do that this year, but after seeing these photos, I think I may need to bring them back!

Jennifer at Tater Tots & Jello prepared a post including 30 Fall Projects!  If you can’t find any inspiration in this post, then you need to have your head examined.  Seriously.  I know I’ve said this a dozen times before, but you people never cease to amaze me!  Just take a look:

That is a corn husk wreath, my friends!  Who knew?

And this Chocolate Spider Web (Cake In a Jar) from I Am a Baker has me super excited for Halloween already:
Talk about creative!  I’m not sure I’d have the patience to do this, but it sure is super cool!  I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re arachnophobic, though. (*smile*)
The Fabulous Stephanie Lynn from Under the Table and Dreaming put together a fantastic list of 10 Fun Treats to Make for Fall.  Yum!  Has anyone noticed yet that I keep posting food ideas?  Maybe I’m hungry?

Susie Harris at Susie Harris Blog shows you step-by-step how to paint regular orange pumpkins to make them look this fabulous:
They’re dreamy.  I love, love, love them!  You can easily color coordinate regular orange pumpkins to match your decor or a specific vignette.  Love!
And I can’t write a Fall inspiration post without reminding you about B & B’s Nest Link Party from this past Tuesday!  Check it out.  It’s open for a few more days.  You’ll find more inspiration there, like this Fall mantel display from Our Blue Front Door:

Yummy pumpkin bars from Embracing Change:

and how to use glitter from the dollar store to create these adorable glitter pumpkins, from Oasis Accents:

Have you been Fall-ified yet?  The party is still going on, so please share all of YOUR fantastic projects too!
I wasn’t kidding, was I, when I said there’s some seriously creative people out there?  I can’t even begin to fathom what the Christmas season will bring.  This is my first year blogging, so I can only imagine!!
*Attention:  I posted a question last night on B & B’s Nest Facebook page regarding the Silhouette and Cricut machines.  Please take a minute to the visit the Facebook page and share your thoughts.  It’d be greatly appreciated!
